O McDonnell Douglas C-9 é uma versão militar do avião McDonnell Douglas DC-9. Foi produzido como o C-9A Nightingale para a Força Aérea dos Estados Unidos e o C-9B Skytrain II para a Marinha e o Corpo de Fuzileiros Navais dos EUA. O vôo final do C-9A Nightingale foi em setembro de 2005, e o C-9C foi aposentado em setembro de 2011. A Marinha dos EUA aposentou seu último C-9B em julho de 2014.
