De Harley-Davidson WLA is een Harley-Davidson motorfiets die werd geproduceerd volgens de specificaties van het Amerikaanse leger in de jaren tijdens en rond de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Het was gebaseerd op een bestaand civiel model, de WL, en is van het 45 solo-type, zo genoemd vanwege de motorcilinderinhoud van 45 kubieke inch (740 cm3) en het ontwerp voor één rijder. Dezelfde motor, in een iets lagere staat van afstelling, dreef ook de driewielige Servi-Car (de "G"-familie) aan, wat leidde tot de onderscheiding "solo".

De Harley Davidson WLC is a motorcycle that was produced by the American manufacturer Harley Davidson according to the specifications of the Canadian Army during World War II. It was based on an existing civilian model, the WL, which had a 45 cubic inch (740 cc) flathead engine and a single seat. The WLC was a narrow variant of the WLA, which was made for the US Army and its allies.
The main differences between the WLC and the WLA were the use of heavier components, usually from the Big Twin models, and a distinctive blackout lighting system. The WLC was also supplied in smaller quantities to the UK, South Africa and other allies. The WLC is een zeldzame en verzamelbare motorfiets die een deel van de geschiedenis vertegenwoordigt.
