Traktor-LKW were used to tow semi-trailers up to 37,500 lb (17,000 kg) with 15,000 lb (6,800 kg) on their fifth wheel. Semi-tractor/trailers have to stay on relatively flat ground, and are not rated for full off-road use. On improved roads they could tow up to 55,000 lb (25,000 kg) with 25,000 lb (11,000 kg) on their fifth wheel. Tractor trucks normally towed a 12-ton, 2-axle trailer. There were stake and platform, van, low-bed, and tanker bodies. Six-ton, 2-axle expansible vans and 6-ton, single-axle vans were also used

das Jakowlew Jak-18 (Russisch: 18 €; Der NATO-Meldename Max) war ein sowjetisches Tandem-Militär-Primärausbilderflugzeug. Ursprünglich angetrieben von einem 119 kW (160 PS) Shvetsov M-11FR-1 Radialkolbenmotor, wurde er 1946 in Dienst. Es wird auch in China als Nanchang CJ-5 produziert.

USS Elrod (FFG-55), an Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate, is a ship of the United States Navy named after Captain Henry T. Elrod (1905–1941), a Marine aviator who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroism in the defense of Wake Island in World War II. The ship was originally home ported in Charleston, SC and shifted to Norfolk, VA in March 1995. Elrod has completed five deployments to the Persian Gulf, three to the Mediterranean Sea, and one to the Adriatic Sea, and has participated in numerous operations in the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea and the Caribbean Sea.

das CAC CA-25 Winjeel ist ein in Australien entwickeltes und hergestelltes dreisitziges Trainingsflugzeug. Er wurde 1955 bei der Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) als Grund- bis Fortgeschrittenentrainer in Dienst gestellt und diente in dieser Funktion bis 1975. Später wurde es bis 1994 in der Rolle der Forward Air Control (FAC) zur Zielmarkierung eingesetzt, danach wurde es aus dem RAAF-Dienst ausgemustert.

das Eurocopter AS532 Cougar (jetzt Airbus Helicopters H215M) ist ein zweimotoriger, mittelschwerer Mehrzweckhubschrauber, der von Frankreich entwickelt wurde. Die AS532 ist eine Weiterentwicklung und Aufwertung der Aérospatiale SA 330 Puma in ihrer militarisierten Form. (Sein ziviles Pendant ist der Eurocopter AS332 Super Puma.) Der AS532 wurde als Eurocopter EC725 weiterentwickelt.

das Jakowlew UT-2 (Russisch: Яковлев УТ-2; Nato-Berichtsname "Mink") war ein einmotoriger zweisitziger Tandem-Tiefdecker, der während des Großen Vaterländischen Krieges der Standardtrainer der Sowjetunion war. Es wurde von der sowjetischen Luftwaffe von 1937 bis zu seiner Erlößung durch die Jakowlew Jak-18 in den 1950er Jahren eingesetzt.

das Boeing CH-47 Chinook ist ein amerikanischer Doppelmotor-Tandemrotor-Schwerhubschrauber. Seine Hauptaufgaben sind Truppenbewegung, Artillerieplatzierung und Schlachtfeldnachschub. Es hat eine breite Laderampe an der Rückseite des Rumpfes und drei externe ventrale Ladehaken. Mit einer Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 170 Knoten (196 mph, 315 km/h) war der Helikopter schneller als moderne Versorgungshubschrauber und Kampfhubschrauber der 1960er Jahre und ist immer noch einer der schnellsten Hubschrauber im US-Inventar. Die CH-47 gehört zu den schwersten Heben von westlichen Hubschraubern. Sein Name stammt von den Indianern Chinook.

das Jakowlew UT-1 (Russian: УТ-1) was a single-seater trainer aircraft used by the Soviet Air Force from 1937 until the late 1940s. The UT-1 was designed as a single-seater advanced trainer and aerobatic airplane by the team led by Alexander Sergeevich Yakovlev. The first prototype, designated the AIR-14, was flown in early 1936. The AIR-14 was a small low-winged monoplane with a fixed tailwheel undercarriage, with a welded steel fuselage and wooden wings. After some changes, the AIR-14 was accepted for production. Among other improvements, the 75 kW (100 hp) Shvetsov M-11 radial was changed to the more powerful 86 kW (115 hp) M-11G. The plane received the designation UT-1 (uchebno-trenirovochnyi {учебно-тренировочный}, primary/advanced trainer); despite this designation, it was not suitable for primary training.

das ZIL-131 is a general purpose 3.5 tons 6×6 army truck designed in the Soviet Union by ZIL. The basic model being a general cargo truck. Variants include a tractor-trailer truck, a dump truck, a fuel truck, and a 6×6 for towing a 4-wheeled powered trailer. The ZIL-131 also serves as a platform for the 9P138 rocket launcher, a 30-tube variant of the BM-21 “Grad”. The ZIL-131 has a civilian version the ZIL-130, both were introduced in 1967 as a family of two trucks sharing identical components. The ZIL-131 6×6 has the same equipment as the GAZ-66 and Ural-375D. The ZIL-130/131 was in production at the “AMUR” truck plant (as the AMUR 531340), with both gasoline and diesel engines, until 2012 when AMUR shut down and filed for bankruptcy.
