The Sonderkraftfahrzeug 251 (SdKfz 251) (littéralement : véhicule de combat spécial) était un véhicule blindé allemand semi-chenillé de combat construit durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, qui fut produit tout au long du conflit. Sa classification dans la Heer correspond à Schützenpanzer (Véhicule de combat d’infanterie). Il était essentiellement destiné à équiper les Panzerdivisions et les unités de Panzergrenadieren et partageait de nombreux éléments mécaniques avec le SdKfz 7.

Derived from the M2 Half Track Car, which was developed from the Citroen-Kégresse half-track., the slightly longer M3 was extensively produced, with about 15,000 units and more than 50,000 derivative variants manufactured (most of which were interim designs).

The T-26 was a light infantry support tank produced by the USSR from 1931 to 1941, with nearly twelve thousand units. Inspired by the Vickers 6-Ton, whose production license had been purchased from the British, it was one of the most successful tanks of the 1930s. It formed the backbone of the Red Army armoured forces in 1941, but following the appalling losses it suffered during the German offensive, it quickly lost this role to the more modern armoured vehicles, and by mid-1942 it was relegated to secondary roles.

The tank T-37 est le premier d’une longue série de chars légers amphibies soviétiques, qui fut développé au début des années 1930. La production de 1933 à 1936 totalisa 2 627 exemplaires de toutes les versions. Les premiers construits, le furent par rivetage, ce qui posait des problèmes de flottaison, on passa rapidement à un assemblage par soudure. 2 225 étaient en service au moment de l’opération Barbarossa. Il fut employé jusqu’en 1943 pour les opérations amphibies et la reconnaissance en particulier à Sébastopol en 1941 et 1942 et lors du débarquement en Crimée en décembre 1941.
