Teh Μέσσερσμιτ Bf 108 Ταϊφούν was a German single-engine sport and touring aircraft, developed by Bayerische Flugzeugwerke (Bavarian Aircraft Works) in the 1930s. The Bf 108 was of all-metal construction. The Bf 108 was adopted into Luftwaffe service during World War II, where it was primarily used as a personnel transport and liaison aircraft.

The Messerschmitt Me-108 Taifun was a four-seat single-engine aircraft developed by Willy Messerschmitt, the chief engineer of Bayerische Flugzeugwerke (BFW) in Augsburg, Germany. The name Taifun (Typhoon) was given by the German aviator Elly Beinhorn, who flew a raid from Gleiwitz to Berlin to Istanbul on August 13, 1935. The Me-108 was designed as a sport and touring aircraft for the 1934 International Tourist Challenge. It was the first all-metal aircraft with retractable landing gear and other modern features for its time. The Me-108 was also used by the Luftwaffe as a liaison and personnel transport aircraft during World War II, as well as by several other countries. The production of the Me-108 was transferred to occupied France during the war and continued after the war as the Nord 1000 Pingouin.
