Photo Gallery on a Gas MM, The Gas-MM is a Soviet truck in use during the Second World War. This truck is the modernized version of the Gas-AA or to be more precise the simplified and militarized version. The simplifications he underwent to be integrated into the army from the beginning of the war did not alter his performance and reliability, which meant that he served as a base for multiple variants (installation of light guns, heavy machine guns, etc.) in addition to his primary functions which were cargo and troop transport. This vehicle is robust and reliable and it will be produced until 1949.

Album de 66 walk-around photos of the tank T-46

Photo gallery on a T-46 light tank, The Russian tank T-46 is a derivative of its predecessor the T-26 tank. It was a convertible tank with the ability to switch to either "track mode" or "wheel mode" which gave it a substantial gain in speed. The turret and various equipment were retained compared to the T2-6 so this tank is considered only as an extension of the T-26 and not as a real creation, besides its production did not exceed the few dozen units because it will be very quickly outclassed by the arrival of the series of BT-5 and BT-7 tanks.

Album of 53 photos of an aircraft Savoia Marchetti SM-79

The Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero (Italian for “Sparrowhawk”) was a three-engined Italian medium bomber with a wood and metal structure. In the years 1937–39 it was originally designed as a fast passenger aircraft, this low-wing monoplane, set 26 world records that qualified it for some time as the fastest medium bomber in the world.

It first saw action during the Spanish Civil War and flew on all fronts in which Italy was involved during World War II. It became famous and achieved many successes as a torpedo bomber in the Mediterranean theater. The SM.79 was an outstanding aircraft and was certainly the best known Italian aeroplane of World War II. It was easily recognizable due to its distinctive fuselage dorsal “hump”, and was well liked by its crews who nicknamed it Gobbo Maledetto (“damned hunchback”). It was the most widely produced Italian bomber of World War II, with some 1,300 built, remaining in Italian service until 1952.

An Illustrated Guide to Cars, Trucks, Half-Tracks, Motorcycles, Amphibious Vehicles.

Book Description:

While World War I introduced the world to modern warfare, it was World War II that saw the onset and use of motorized vehicles in combat. This volume presents a cross-section of the most common transport vehicles produced and used by the German army. Tanks plus auxiliary vehicles such as cars, motorcycles, vans, ambulances, trucks and tractors made it possible for the troops to keep moving. These lightly armored or unarmored vehicles–aka “soft skins”–operated behind the front lines, maintaining supply lines, connecting armies with their home bases, and ultimately determining the outcome of battle. Beginning with the development of military vehicles in the early 1930s, this volume discusses the ways in which this new technology influenced and, to some extent, facilitated Hitler’s program of rearmament. Nomenclature, standard equipment, camouflage and the combat roles of the various vehicles are thoroughly examined. Individual vehicle types are arranged and discussed by the following classifications: cars and motorcycles; trucks and tractors; half-tracks and wheeled combat vehicles. Accompanied by well-researched, detailed line drawings, each section deals with a number of individual vehicles, describing their design, manufacture and specific use.
