Tthe Zobacz materiał K30 został po raz pierwszy ogłoszony jako projekt w 1983 roku, z 600 personelem prowadzącym badania i około 10 miliardami wonów wydanymi na badania i rozwój. We wrześniu 2001 r. produkcja prototypów została zakończona przez Tong-il Heavy Industries, zanim Doosan Infracore zawarł umowę z koreańskim Programem Zakupów Obronnych w 2007 r. Pierwsze zamówienie zostało złożone w 2002 roku na dostawę K30.

General Characteristics

The K30 Biho is a South Korean short-range self-propelled anti-aircraft gun (SPAAG) system. It was designed to provide close-in air defense against low-flying aircraft, helicopters, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for ground forces.

Key Feature (K-30 Hybrid): An upgraded variant, the K-30 Biho Hybrid, integrates shoulder-fired missiles (like the K-SAAM or Mistral) and an auxiliary power unit (APU) for quiet operation, significantly extending its engagement range.
Amphibious Capability: Inherits the amphibious capability of the K200 chassis.
