Teh Κ30 ανακοινώθηκε για πρώτη φορά ως έργο το 1983 με 600 άτομα προσωπικό να διεξάγουν έρευνα και περίπου 10 δισεκατομμύρια γουόν να δαπανώνται για Ε & Α. Τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2001, η παραγωγή πρωτοτύπων έγινε υπό την Tong-il Heavy Industries πριν η Doosan Infracore συνάψει σύμβαση με το Πρόγραμμα Αμυντικών Προμηθειών της Κορέας το 2007. Μια αρχική παραγγελία έγινε το 2002 για την προμήθεια του K30.

General Characteristics

The K30 Biho is a South Korean short-range self-propelled anti-aircraft gun (SPAAG) system. It was designed to provide close-in air defense against low-flying aircraft, helicopters, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for ground forces.
