A post–World War II revision of the Boeing B-29 Superfortress, it was fitted with more powerful Pratt & Whitney R-4360 radial engines, stronger structure, a taller tail fin, and other improvements. It was the last piston-engined bomber designed by Boeing for the United States Air Force (except the never-completed B-54, a derivative of the B-50). Not as well known as its direct predecessor, the B-50 was in USAF service for nearly 20 years.

Fotogalerie eines Leclerc Prototyp, The Char Leclerc is a main battle tank (MBT) built by GIAT, now Nexter of France. It was named in honour of General Philippe Leclerc de Hauteclocque who led the French element of the drive towards Paris while in command of the Free French 2nd Armoured Division (2ème DB) in World War II. The Leclerc is in service with the French Army and the army of the United Arab Emirates. In production since 1991, the Leclerc entered French service in 1992, replacing the AMX 30 as the country’s main armoured platform. With production now complete, the French Army has a total of 406 Leclerc and the United Arab Emirates Army has 388.

das Panhard ERC 90 (Engin à Roues, Canon de 90 mm) ist ein französisches sechsrädriges gepanzertes Geländefahrzeug, das sehr mobil und amphibisch ist, mit der Option, ABC-sicher zu sein. Während verschiedene Modelle getestet wurden, wurden nur zwei Versionen des ERC entwickelt und produziert: der Lynx und der Sagaie. Der Hauptunterschied zwischen den beiden Versionen ist die Art des Turms und der 90-mm-Kanone. Sagaie ist französisch für assegai, eine Art afrikanischer Speer.

Die B-36 war das größte serienverante Kolbenmotorflugzeug aller Zeiten. Es hatte die längste Spannweite aller jemals gebauten Kampfflugzeuge, mit 70,1 m. Die B-36 war der erste Bomber, der in der Lage war, atomwaffenfähige Waffen im US-Arsenal aus seinen vier Bombenbuchten ohne Flugzeugmodifikationen zu liefern. Mit einer Reichweite von 16.000 km und einer maximalen Nutzlast von 39.600 kg war die B-36 der weltweit erste bemannte Bomber, der in der Lage war, ohne Betankung Interkontinentalflüge zu fliegen.

The Centurion, introduced in 1945, was the primary British main battle tank of the post-World War II period. It is widely considered to be one of the most successful post-war tank designs, remaining in production into the 1960s, and seeing combat in the front lines into the 1980s. The chassis was also adapted for several other roles, and these have remained in service to this day. FV 4006 Centurion ARV Mk 2 : (1956) – Mk 1 / Mk 2 / Mk 3 Rumpf mit dem Turm ersetzt durch einen Aufbau, der eine Winde.
