Fotogalerie eines Avro 643 Mk.II Kadett, The Avro Cadet was a single-engined British biplane trainer designed and built by Avro in the 1930s as a smaller development of the Avro Tutor for civil use. One of major operator was the RAAF, which acquired 34 Mk II Cadets, delivered between November 1935 and February 1939. These remained in service until 1946, when the surviving 16 were sold for civil use. Two of these were re-engined in 1963 with 220 hp (160 kW) Jacobs R-755 engines for use as crop sprayers. In the U.K., only two Cadets survived the war.

Fotogalerie eines XM-8 Panzergewehrsystem, The United Defense M8 Armored Gun System is an American light tank that was intended to replace the M551 Sheridan in the 82nd Airborne Division, as well as being expected to replace TOW-equipped Humvees in the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment (2nd ACR). The M8 project was eventually canceled. Its role in the 2nd ACR was eventually taken by the M1128 Mobile Gun System.

das Vultee BT-13 Valiant Vultee Aircraft war ein US-amerikanisches Schulflugzeug aus der Zeit des Zweiten Weltkriegs, das von Vultee Aircraft für das United States Army Air Corps und später für die US Army Air Forces gebaut wurde. Eine nachfolgende Variante des BT-13 im USAAC/USAAF-Dienst war als BT-15 Valiant bekannt, während eine identische Version für die US Navy als SNV bekannt war und zur Ausbildung von Marinefliegern für die US Navy und ihre Schwesterdienste, das US Marine Corps und die US Coast Guard, verwendet wurde.

The first two, WZT-1 and WZT-2 were built on T-55/T-55A hull, the WZT-3 was built on T-72M hull, the WZT-3M was built on PT-91 hull and the WZT-4 was built on PT-91M hull for Malaysia.

The first flight took place in May 1941. It was given the Allied reporting name “Irving”, since the earlier reconnaissance version the J1N1-C, was mistaken for a fighter.

North American Aviation T-6 Texan ist ein einmotoriges, fortschrittliches Trainingsflugzeug, das während des Zweiten Weltkriegs und bis in die 1970er Jahre zur Ausbildung von Piloten der United States Army Air Forces (USAAF), der United States Navy, der Royal Air Force und anderer Luftstreitkräfte des British Commonwealth eingesetzt wurde. Die T-6 wurde von North American Aviation entwickelt und ist je nach Modell und eingesetzter Luftwaffe unter einer Vielzahl von Bezeichnungen bekannt. Das United States Army Air Corps (USAAC) und die USAAF bezeichneten sie als AT-6, die United States Navy als SNJ und die British Commonwealth Air Forces, die Harvard, der Name, unter dem sie außerhalb der USA am bekanntesten ist. Nach 1962 wurde sie von den US-Streitkräften als T-6 bezeichnet. Es ist nach wie vor ein beliebtes Warbird-Flugzeug, das für Flugvorführungen und statische Vorführungen verwendet wird. Fotogalerie eines Douglas WB-66 Zerstörer, The Douglas B-66 Destroyer was a U.S. Air Force Tactical Air Command light bomber based on the United States Navy’s A-3 Skywarrior carrier-based heavy attack aircraft. It was intended to replace the Douglas A-26 Invader. An RB-66 photo-reconnaissance version was ordered simultaneously. The USAF B-66 retained the three-man crew from the US Navy A-3, but incorporated ejection seats that the US Navy variant lacked. WB-66D: Electronic weather reconnaissance variant with the crew compartment modified for two observers, 36 built with two later modified to X-21A.
