Fleet Model 1 og dens afledninger var alle ortodokse biplaner med forskudte vinger med samme spændvidde og fast haleunderstel. Der blev sørget for indkvartering til to i tandem, der oprindeligt delte et enkelt åbent cockpit, men i de fleste tilfælde i separate åbne cockpits. Skroget var lavet af svejset stålrør med trekantet Warren-gitterkonstruktionsmønster sidestrukturer, der var typiske for den tid, og vingerne havde en træbjælke med duraluminribber, hvor hele flyet var stofbeklædt. Den Konsolideret PT-6A is a single-engine turboprop aircraft designed and manufactured by Consolidated Aircraft Corporation. The PT-6A was first flown in 1944 and entered service with the United States Army Air Forces in 1945. The PT-6A was used for training, liaison, and utility missions, and could carry up to four passengers or 600 pounds of cargo. The PT-6A was powered by a Pratt & Whitney R-1340 radial engine that produced 600 horsepower and gave the aircraft a maximum speed of 200 miles per hour and a range of 1,000 miles.
Den PT-6A had a wingspan of 39 feet, a length of 27 feet, and a height of 9 feet. The PT-6A was also known as the L-13 Grasshopper and the UC-78 Bobcat in military service, and as the Cessna T-50 in civilian use. The PT-6A was retired from military service in 1955 and from civilian service in 1969. About 5,400 PT-6As were built, and some are still flying today as vintage aircraft.
