Lla Aermacchi ou Macchi MB-326 est un avion d’entraînement militaire léger conçu en Italie. Conçu à l’origine comme un avion d’entraînement biplace, il y a également eu des versions d’attaque légère monoplace et biplace produites. C’est l’un des avions les plus réussis commercialement de ce type, acheté par plus de 10 pays et produit sous licence en Australie, au Brésil et en Afrique du Sud. Il a établi de nombreux records de catégorie, y compris un record d’altitude de 56 807 pieds (17 315 m) le 18 mars 1966. Plus de 800 MB-326 ont été construits entre 1961 et 1975.

Attack Capability
Later versions, particularly the two-seat MB-326G and the single-seat MB-326K (Impala Mk II), were heavily reinforced for the light attack role:
