The Denel Rooivalk (“Red Kestrel”) is a twin-engine, tandem-seat attack helicopter manufactured by Denel Aviation of South Africa. Developed from the dynamic components of the Aérospatiale Super Puma/Atlas Oryx, it was designed for anti-armour, ground suppression, and anti-helicopter missions, tailored to operate effectively in the harsh African environment with minimal support.
