Denel Rooivalk (dříve označovaný jako AH-2 a CSH-2) je bitevní vrtulník vyráběný společností Denel Aviation z Jižní Afriky. Rooivalk je afrikánsky "červený sokol", což odkazuje na menší poštolku. Vývoj typu začal v roce 1984 společností Atlas Aircraft Corporation, jeho vývoj je úzce spojen s transportním vrtulníkem Atlas Oryx, oba letouny vycházejí z letounu Aérospatiale SA 330 Puma a jeho vývoj začal ve stejnou dobu.

The Denel Rooivalk (“Red Kestrel”) is a twin-engine, tandem-seat attack helicopter manufactured by Denel Aviation of South Africa. Developed from the dynamic components of the Aérospatiale Super Puma/Atlas Oryx, it was designed for anti-armour, ground suppression, and anti-helicopter missions, tailored to operate effectively in the harsh African environment with minimal support.

Design and Powerplant
