De McDonnell Douglas (later Boeing) X-36 Tailless Fighter Agility Research Aircraft was een Amerikaans stealthy subscale prototype jet ontworpen om te vliegen zonder de traditionele staartassemblage die op de meeste vliegtuigen te vinden is.
