das BAC Jet Provost ist ein britisches Düsenschulflugzeug, das von 1955 bis 1993 bei der Royal Air Force (RAF) im Einsatz war. Es wurde ursprünglich von Hunting Percival aus dem früheren Kolbenmotor-angetriebenen Percival Provost Basistrainer entwickelt und später von der British Aircraft Corporation (BAC) produziert. Zusätzlich zu den zahlreichen RAF-Aufträgen wurde der Jet Provost, manchmal mit leichter Bewaffnung, an viele Luftstreitkräfte weltweit exportiert. Das Design wurde auch zu einer schwerer bewaffneten Bodenangriffsvariante unter dem Namen BAC Strikemaster weiterentwickelt.
