Den Kamov Ka-26 (NATO reporting name Hoodlum) is a Soviet light utility helicopter with co-axial rotors. The Ka-26 entered production in 1969. 816 have been built. A variant with a single turboshaft engine was the Ka-126. A twin turboshaft-powered version is the Ka-226. (All the Ka-26/126/128/226 variants are codenamed “Hoodlum”).

Den Kamov Ka-26 is a light utility helicopter designed and manufactured by the Soviet company Kamov. It was first flown in 1965 and entered service in 1969. The Ka-26 has a distinctive coaxial rotor system, which eliminates the need for a tail rotor and increases the maneuverability and stability of the helicopter. The Ka-26 can carry up to six passengers or various types of cargo in a detachable pod under the fuselage.
Den Ka-26 drives af to Vedeneyev M-14V-26 radiale motorer monteret på hver side af cockpiten. Ka-26 er blevet brugt til forskellige formål, såsom sprøjtning af landbruget, brandslukning, medicinsk evakuering, politipatrulje og luftfotografering. Ka-26 er blevet eksporteret til flere lande, herunder Bulgarien, Kina, Tyskland, Ungarn, Rumænien og Vietnam. Ka-26 er stadig i drift i nogle lande, men den er stort set blevet erstattet af nyere modeller som Ka-226 og Ka-32.
