"Arado Ar 196" buvo laivų žvalgybinis žemo sparno monoplaninis lėktuvas, kurį nuo 1936 m. pastatė Vokietijos firma "Arado". Kitais metais jis buvo išrinktas dizaino konkurso nugalėtoju ir tapo standartiniu Kriegsmarine (Vokietijos karinio jūrų laivyno) orlaiviu per visą Antrąjį pasaulinį karą.

General Characteristics (World War II)

The Arado Ar 196 was the standard shipboard reconnaissance aircraft of the German Kriegsmarine (Navy) throughout World War II, replacing the older Heinkel He 60 biplane. The A-3 was a heavily armed production variant with a reinforced structure.
