Arado Ar 196 był okrętowym dolnopłatem rozpoznawczym jednopłatowym zbudowanym przez niemiecką firmę Arado od 1936 roku. W następnym roku został wybrany zwycięzcą konkursu projektowego i stał się standardowym samolotem Kriegsmarine (niemieckiej marynarki wojennej) podczas II wojny światowej.
