General Characteristics

The RWD-13 was a successful Polish high-wing monoplane designed by the RWD team (Rogalski, Wigura, and Drzewiecki) and produced in the mid-1930s. Developed from the successful RWD-6 and RWD-9 competition aircraft, the RWD-13 was simplified for the civilian touring and utility market. It was celebrated for its excellent handling, stability, and Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL) characteristics. It was the most commercially successful aircraft built by RWD.
