Denel Rooivalk (tidligere betegnet AH-2 og CSH-2) er et angrepshelikopter produsert av Denel Aviation i Sør-Afrika. Rooivalk er afrikaans for "Red Falcon", som refererer til den mindre kestrel. Utviklingen av typen begynte i 1984 av Atlas Aircraft Corporation, utviklingen er nært knyttet til Atlas Oryx transporthelikopter, begge flyene er basert på Aérospatiale SA 330 Puma og har startet utviklingen samtidig.

The Denel Rooivalk (“Red Kestrel”) is a twin-engine, tandem-seat attack helicopter manufactured by Denel Aviation of South Africa. Developed from the dynamic components of the Aérospatiale Super Puma/Atlas Oryx, it was designed for anti-armour, ground suppression, and anti-helicopter missions, tailored to operate effectively in the harsh African environment with minimal support.

Design and Powerplant
