das K30 wurde erstmals 1983 als Projekt mit 600 Mitarbeitern für die Forschung und rund 10 Milliarden Won für Forschung und Entwicklung angekündigt. Im September 2001 wurde die Produktion von Prototypen unter der Leitung von Tong-il Heavy Industries durchgeführt, bevor Doosan Infracore 2007 einen Vertrag mit dem koreanischen Defense Acquisition Program abschloss. Im Jahr 2002 wurde ein erster Auftrag für die Lieferung des K30 erteilt.

General Characteristics

The K30 Biho is a South Korean short-range self-propelled anti-aircraft gun (SPAAG) system. It was designed to provide close-in air defense against low-flying aircraft, helicopters, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for ground forces.
