A mock-up of the home Italeri le kit "Sd. Automobile. 167 Assault Gun IV - ITALERI 6491"

The Sturmgeschutz (StuG) was used as infantry fire support. The StuG have done very well in their original role, destroying, among other things, bunkers, casemates and countless other defenses. The StuG is generally not considered a tank due to the absence of the turret. The barrel is mounted directly in a casemate, with the lowest possible profile, in order to reduce the height, with a limited inclination of the barrel. The absence of the turret leads to simpler and more economical production, allowing many to be produced. The StuG IV (SdKfz167) was armed with a 75mm STUK 40L/48 gun mounted with a cast-iron "Saukopf" shield. The majority were assigned to armoured infantry divisions and armoured grenader divisions.

A kit about the StuG.III Ausf.G Dec. 1943 Production from the brand DRAGON Models the kit “StuG.III Ausf.G Dec. 1943 Production – DRAGON 6581”.

The StuG.III (Sd.Kfz.142), based on the widely used Panzer III family of tanks, evolved into a very capable German tank destroyer during WWII. In fact, the StuG.III was Germany’s most widely manufactured armored fighting vehicle of the war. As enemy tanks improved their protection and armament, Germany responded by fitting the 7.5cm StuK 40 L/48 gun inside the vehicle’s casemate. This variant was known as the Ausf.G, of which 7,720 were produced from December 1942 through till April 1945. This made the Ausf.G the most common German tank destroyer variant by far, and hence one of the most popular amongst modelers too.

  • One clear plastic sprue with the vision blocks and sights.
  • 15 sprues in light gray ranging in size from almost as large as the box down to a tiny 2” x 1” little guy that holds a sweet little MG-34.
  • A small length of braided wire.
  • Two bags of Magic Track in slightly different shades of gray to help keep them straight.
  • One brass photo-etch fret.
  • Two nickel etched sprues.
  • An eight panel set of instructions, plus a small errata sheet.
  • A Cartograf produced decal sheet.

Photo Gallery on a Gas MM, The Gas-MM is a Soviet truck in use during the Second World War. This truck is the modernized version of the Gas-AA or to be more precise the simplified and militarized version. The simplifications he underwent to be integrated into the army from the beginning of the war did not alter his performance and reliability, which meant that he served as a base for multiple variants (installation of light guns, heavy machine guns, etc.) in addition to his primary functions which were cargo and troop transport. This vehicle is robust and reliable and it will be produced until 1949.
