Le Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Würger était un chasseur-bombardier monoplace et monomoteur utilisé par l’Allemagne nazie pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, à partir de 1941 et jusqu’en 1945. Il ne réussit jamais à remplacer complètement le Messerschmitt Bf 109 comme principal chasseur de la Luftwaffe, bien qu’il lui fût supérieur. Il fut produit à plus de 20 000 exemplaires. Grâce à sa polyvalence issue d’une construction modulaire, il donna naissance à un grand nombre de modèles dérivés qui lui permirent de remplacer le Junkers Ju 87 (Stuka) comme avion d’appui des troupes au sol, et le Messerschmitt Bf 110 comme chasseur lourd pour lutter contre les bombardiers, lorsque ces deux derniers avions furent devenus beaucoup trop vulnérables pour continuer à être envoyés au combat. Il fut le premier vrai chasseur-bombardier de la Luftwaffe.

The SdKfz 2, better known as Kleines Kettenkraftrad HK 101 ou Kettenkrad est un “Sonderkraftfahrzeug” (SdKfz) ce qui signifie véhicule spécial à moteur. Il s’agit d’un modèle d’autochenille. Produit de 1940 à 1948, il ne transporte que 2 hommes, mais atteint 70 km/h et se comporte très bien sur tout type de terrain. C’était au départ un petit tracteur pour troupes aéroportées. Ce véhicule a été conçu pour être livré par des avions Junkers Ju 52, mais pas par parachute. Le véhicule avait l’avantage d’être le seul petit tracteur d’artillerie, assez petit pour tenir dans la soute du Ju 52. Il a été utilisé comme transport de troupe, mais aussi pour d’autres missions, notamment le déroulage de câbles téléphoniques ou le tractage de pièces d’artillerie légères. Il pesait à vide 1235 kg.

Cyber-Hobby previously produced its first ever 1/72 scale model kit in its Golden Wings series, a Curtiss SB2C-4 Helldiver. The Helldiver was a carrier-based dive-bomber widely used by the US Navy (USN) during WWII. The twin-seat SB2C was roundly criticized for its handling characteristics, range and reliability, but nevertheless it achieved good results in combat after improvements were made during the course of production. It was in the thick of such battles as Rabaul, the Marianas, the Philippines, Taiwan, Iwo Jima, the Ryuku Islands and Okinawa. One of its strengths was the ability to carry a significant amount of munitions, plus it had an internal bomb bay. Some 7,140 Helldivers were manufactured in total. However, Cyber-Hobby is now pleased to be offering a slightly earlier variant of the Helldiver, an SB2C-3. To improve performance, this type had received a 1,900hp R-2600-20 engine and a four-bladed propeller. Some 1,112 SB2C-3 Helldivers were produced by Curtiss.

The Mi-8 is the world’s most-produced helicopter and is used by over 50 countries. Russia is the largest operator of the Mi-8/Mi-17 helicopter. The prototype V-8 was designed in 1960 based on the Mil Mi-4 with a larger cabin. Powered by a 2,010 kW (2,700 shp) Soloviev turboshaft engine, the V-8 was first shown on Soviet Aviation Day parade in July 1961. The second prototype equipped with two 1,120 kW (1,500 shp) Isotov TV2 engines, made its first flight on 17 September 1962. For the production version the rotor was changed from a four blades to five blades in 1964. After a few changes it was introduced into the Soviet Air Force by 1967 as the Mi-8.

The ZSD 89 is an APC developed for the PLA. During the 1999 national day parade at Beijing, revealed its to the public, which finally confirmed the service status of the vehicle. The ZBD 90 IFV is fitted with an one-man 25mm cannon turret and 7.62mm PKT coaxial machine gun. The 25mm gun has a full 360° traverse with an elevation of -8° ~ 55°. Ammunition load for the 25 mm gun is 400 rounds, with an additional 120 HE (high-explosive) rounds and 80 AP (Armour-Piercing) rounds carried in the turret. The 25 mm gun can fire single, 3-round burst, or 5-round burst. The max rate of fire is 100r/min or 200r/min.

History: The SU-152 (СУ-152) was a Soviet self-propelled heavy howitzer used during World War II. It mounted a 152 mm gun-howitzer on the chassis of a KV-1S heavy tank. Later production used IS tank chassis and was re-designated as ISU-152. Because of its adopted role of as an impromptu heavy tank destroyer, capable of knocking out the heaviest German armoured vehicles—Tiger and Panther tanks, and Elefant tank destroyers—it was nicknamed Zveroboy, “beast killer”.

The Boeing C-17 Globemaster III is a large military transport aircraft. It was developed for the United States Air Force (USAF) from the 1980s to the early 1990s by McDonnell Douglas; the company later merged with Boeing. The C-17 is used for rapid strategic airlift of troops and cargo to main operating bases or forward operating bases throughout the world. It can also perform tactical airlift, medical evacuation and airdrop missions. The C-17 carries the name of two previous, but unrelated piston-engine, U.S. military cargo aircraft, the Douglas C-74 Globemaster and the Douglas C-124 Globemaster II. Although no longer being purchased by the U.S. Air Force, C-17s are being built for export customers.

Le SdKfz 141 Panzerkampfwagen III (PzKpfw III), or Panzer III, is a German tank, designed in the late 1930s and used extensively during the first phase of World War II. It was developed to engage enemy armoured vehicles (first with a 3.7-cm KwK 36 L/45 anti-tank gun, then from October 1940 with a 5-cm KwK 38 L/42, then a 5-cm L/60 in June 1942), while the Panzer IV, which was contemporary to it, had been planned to provide support fire to infantry troops with a 7.5-cm KwK 37 L/24. However, with the emergence of increasingly protected Allied tanks, only the Panzer IV was able to carry weapons capable of destroying them (with a 7.5-cm KwK 40 L/43 cannon from March 1942), and it supplanted the Panzer III as the main tank of the Wehrmacht. But despite the fact that the Panzer III was totally overtaken by the beginning of 1942, it was still engaged en masse at the Battle of Kursk in July 1943.
