V Robinson R44 je štirisedežni lahki helikopter, ki ga od leta 1992 proizvaja družba Robinson Helicopter Company. Na podlagi dvosedežnega Robinsona R22 ima R44 hidravlično podprt nadzor letenja. Prvič je letel 31. marca 1990 in prejel certifikat FAA decembra 1992, s prvo dostavo februarja 1993.

Design and Powerplant

Engine: One Lycoming IO-540-AE1A5 six-cylinder, fuel-injected piston engine (Raven II). The Raven I uses a carbureted O-540.
Horsepower: Derated to 245 hp for takeoff and 205 hp continuous (Raven II).
Rotor System: Semi-rigid two-bladed main rotor and a two-bladed tail rotor.
Controls: Features hydraulically boosted controls to reduce pilot effort and enhance maneuverability.
