2007 Robinson R44 on neljakohaline kerge helikopter, mida toodab Robinson Helicopter Company alates 1992. aastast. Ettevõtte kaheistmelisel Robinson R22-l põhineval R44-l on hüdrauliliselt abistatavad lennujuhtimisseadmed. See lendas esmakordselt 31. märtsil 1990 ja sai FAA sertifikaadi 1992. aasta detsembris, esimene tarne toimus 1993. aasta veebruaris.

Design and Powerplant

Engine: One Lycoming IO-540-AE1A5 six-cylinder, fuel-injected piston engine (Raven II). The Raven I uses a carbureted O-540.
Horsepower: Derated to 245 hp for takeoff and 205 hp continuous (Raven II).
Rotor System: Semi-rigid two-bladed main rotor and a two-bladed tail rotor.
Controls: Features hydraulically boosted controls to reduce pilot effort and enhance maneuverability.
Safety Feature: Equipped with a crashworthy fuel system that includes bladder fuel tanks to mitigate the risk of post-accident fire.
