S podporou prvého lorda admirality Winstona Churchilla nasledovali ďalšie a lepšie verzie, až kým v roku 1915 ich nebolo asi 100, ktoré boli potom odovzdané armáde. "Hľadali vojnu po celom svete", ako o nich povedal Sir Albert Stern, a onedlho sa objavili obrnené vozidlá Rolls-Royce, ktoré boli od seba vzdialené od nemeckej juhozápadnej Afriky, Západnej púšte, Gallipoli, po celom Blízkom východe a na severozápadnej hranici Indie.
All of them used the classic 40/50hp Silver Ghost chassis.
