De Noord-Amerikaanse B-25 Mitchell is an American twin-engine, medium bomber manufactured by North American Aviation (NAA). The design was named in honor of Major General William “Billy” Mitchell, a pioneer of U.S. military aviation. Used by many Allied air forces, the B-25 served in every theater of World War II and after the war ended many remained in service, operating across four decades. Produced in numerous variants, nearly 10,000 Mitchells rolled from NAA factories. These included a few limited models, such as the United States Marine Corps’ PBJ-1 patrol bomber and the United States Army Air Forces’ F-10 reconnaissance aircraft and AT-24 trainers.

De M48 Patton was een belangrijkste gevechtstank (MBT) die werd ontworpen in de Verenigde Staten. Het was de derde tank die officieel werd vernoemd naar generaal George S. Patton, commandant van het Amerikaanse Derde Leger tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog en een van de eerste Amerikaanse voorstanders voor het gebruik van tanks in de strijd. Het was een verdere ontwikkeling van de M47 Patton tank. De M48 Patton was in Amerikaanse dienst tot vervangen door de M60 en diende als de primaire gevechtstank van het Amerikaanse leger en het Korps Mariniers tijdens de Vietnamoorlog. Het werd veel gebruikt door bondgenoten van de Amerikaanse Koude Oorlog, vooral andere NAVO-landen.

Dassault beschreef de Rafale als een omnirole jager met semi-stealth-capaciteiten. De Rafale is een multirole gevechtsvliegtuig; in staat om tegelijkertijd luchtoverheersing, interdictie, verkenning en nucleaire afschrikkingsmissies in de lucht uit te voeren. De Rafale onderscheidt zich van andere Europese jagers van zijn tijd doordat het bijna volledig door één land is gebouwd, waarbij de meeste grote defensieaannemers van Frankrijk betrokken zijn, zoals Dassault, Thales en Safran.

Terwijl het ontwerp gebruik maakte van de romp van de Pz.Kpfw. 38 (t), inclusief de originele motorkappen, werd de voorste pantserplaat met de vizieren van de bestuurder en de radio-operator en de kogelbevestiging voor het machinegeweer geëlimineerd. Dus SD.Kfz. 138/1 was the first modified vehicle without the original heavy machine gun ZB vd7 (MG-37(t»), which was replaced by a portable standard German machine gun. In place of the original fro nt plate. the vehicle was fitled with a new 25 mm thick plate angled at 17°. At the same time. this 150 cm high plate also acted as the gun’s shield. In the lower right corner there was a cast visor for the driver, in the middle a deep opening for the gun’s barrel, and in the upper left hand corner another small opening for the periscopic sight of the gun. The radio operator was moved into the open fighting compartment, where he functioned as an auxiliary loader when necessary.

The 2C19 can fire against observed targets from indirect position and by direct laying including mountain conditions and contaminated environment (elevation up to +50° C in the mountains). De Supermarine Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter aircraft that was used by the Royal Air Force and many other Allied countries throughout the Second World War. The Spitfire continued to be used as a front line fighter and in secondary roles into the 1950s. It was produced in greater numbers than any other British aircraft and was the only British fighter in continuous production throughout the war. The Spitfire was designed as a short-range, high-performance interceptor aircraft by R. J. Mitchell, chief designer at Supermarine Aviation Works (which operated as a subsidiary of Vickers-Armstrong from 1928). Mitchell continued to refine the design until his death from cancer in 1937, whereupon his colleague Joseph Smith became chief designer. Where speed was seen as essential to carrying out the mission of home defence against enemy bombers, the Spitfire’s thin cross-section elliptical wing allowed it a higher top speed than several contemporary fighters, including the Hawker Hurricane.
