el Aero A.12 fue un bombardero ligero biplano checoslovaco y avión de reconocimiento militar fabricado en pequeñas cantidades poco después de la Primera Guerra Mundial. Aunque recuerda al avión diseñado por Hansa-Brandenburg que Aero estaba construyendo durante la guerra bajo licencia como el Ae.10, el A.12 fue el propio diseño de la compañía. Es quizás más significativo como descendiente directo del altamente exitoso A.11 y sus diversos derivados. Un ejemplo del tipo se conserva en el Museo Letecké en Kbely.

General Characteristics

The Aero A.12 was a two-seat biplane designed and produced in Czechoslovakia in the early 1920s. It was one of the first successful military aircraft developed by the newly established Aero company for the Czechoslovakian Air Force. Primarily used for light bombing and reconnaissance, the A.12 proved reliable and served as the design basis for the highly successful A.11 series.

Design and Powerplant
