Περισσότερες πληροφορίες:

The SAIMAN 202 was a remarkable aircraft that served both civilian and military purposes in Italy and other countries during the 1930s and 1940s. It was designed by Mario Bottino and built by the Società Industrie Meccaniche Aeronautiche Navali (SAIMAN), a company that specialized in naval and aeronautical engineering. The SAIMAN 202 was a low-wing monoplane with a fixed tailwheel landing gear and a nose-mounted engine. It had an enclosed cockpit with side-by-side seating for two people.
The SAIMAN 202 was versatile and adaptable, as it underwent several modifications and variants to suit different needs and contexts. For example, the SAIMAN 202bis was a civil production aircraft used by Italian training organizations, the SAIMAN 202/I was an improved version with a re-designed fuselage and tailplane, the SAIMAN 202 RL was a special variant for rally use with an Alfa Romeo 110 engine, the SAIMAN 202/M was a military production aircraft used as a trainer and liaison aircraft by the Regia Aeronautica, and the SAIMAN 204 R was a four-seat variant for rally use with an Alfa Romeo 115 engine and a longer cabin and nose. The SAIMAN 202 was a reliable and efficient aircraft that could reach a maximum speed of 220 km/h, a range of 600 km, and a service ceiling of 5,050 m. It was used by various operators, such as the Air Force of the Independent State of Croatia, the Italian Co-Belligerent Air Force, and the Italian Air Force, which operated some SAIMAN 202 until 1951. The SAIMAN 202 was a significant example of Italian aviation history and technology, and one of its surviving specimens is on display at the Gianni Caproni Museum of Aeronautics in Trento, Italy.
