das Panhard M3 VTT (französisch: Véhicule de Transport de Troupes) ist ein amphibischer Schützenpanzer. Der M3 wurde als privates Unternehmen für den Exportmarkt entwickelt und mit den gleichen mechanischen und Fahrwerkskomponenten gebaut wie die Panhard AML-Reihe leichter Panzerfahrzeuge. Den beiden Fahrzeugtypen gemein ist eine Austauschbarkeit von 95 % bei den Automobilteilen. Der M3 ist ein äußerst vielseitiges Design, das für eine Vielzahl von Hilfseinsätzen auf dem Schlachtfeld konfiguriert werden kann. Zu den beliebtesten Varianten des Mannschaftstransporters gehörten ein gepanzerter Krankenwagen, ein mobiler Gefechtsstand und ein internes Sicherheitsfahrzeug. Er konnte auch mit einer Vielzahl von Türmen und Bewaffnungen ausgestattet werden, die von einem einzelnen Allzweck-Maschinengewehr bis hin zu einer mittelkalibrigen Maschinenkanone reichten

The Panhard M3 VTT (Véhicule de Transport de Troupes, or Personnel Carrier) is a French armored personnel carrier (APC) developed by Panhard in the late 1960s. Its key design feature is its high parts commonality (approximately 95%) with the highly successful Panhard AML armored car, simplifying logistics and maintenance. The M3 is a wheeled, amphibious, and air-transportable vehicle primarily designed to transport a squad of infantry in high-mobility warfare. While primarily used as an APC, its robust, boxy design allowed it to be adapted into various roles, including command, ambulance, mortar carrier, and maintenance vehicle. Although largely replaced in French service, it remains in use with over 30 countries globally.
