das Grumman G-164C Ag-Cat ist eine Variante der Grumman G-164 Ag-Cat, einem einmotorigen Doppeldecker-Landwirtschaftsflugzeug, das in den 1950er Jahren von Grumman entwickelt wurde. Der Ag-Cat war das erste Flugzeug, das von einem großen Flugzeughersteller speziell für die landwirtschaftliche Luftfahrt entwickelt wurde, und es stellte eine deutliche Verbesserung der Sicherheit und Zuverlässigkeit gegenüber umgebauten Staubdüsen dar. Der Ag-Cat wurde zunächst von Schweizer Aircraft im Auftrag von Grumman und später von anderen Herstellern produziert. Das Modell G-164C wurde 1995 von der Ag-Cat Corp. vorgestellt und verfügte über ein 750 PS starkes Pratt & Whitney PT6A-34AG-Turboprop-Triebwerk, ein größeres Trichtervolumen, eine verbesserte Sicht auf das Cockpit und ein neues Heckdesign. Der G-164C Ag-Cat kann bis zu 400 Gallonen Flüssigkeit oder 3.000 Pfund Trockenchemikalien transportieren und kann von kurzen und rauen Feldern aus betrieben werden. Der G-164C Ag-Cat wird weltweit zum Entstauben, Sprühen, Säen und zur Brandbekämpfung eingesetzt.
