Den K9 Åska är en sydkoreansk 155 mm självgående haubits designad och utvecklad av Agency for Defense Development och privata företag inklusive Dongmyeong Heavy Industries, Kia Heavy Industry, Poongsan Corporation och Samsung Aerospace Industries för Republiken Koreas väpnade styrkor, och tillverkas nu av Hanwha Aerospace. K9-haubitsar fungerar i grupper med varianten K10 Ammunition Resupply Vehicle.

General Characteristics

The K9 Thunder is a modern South Korean 155 mm self-propelled howitzer. It was designed to provide long-range, accurate, and rapid fire support, featuring high mobility and excellent survivability.
