De K9 Donder is een Zuid-Koreaanse 155 mm zelfrijdende houwitser ontworpen en ontwikkeld door het Agency for Defense Development en particuliere bedrijven, waaronder Dongmyeong Heavy Industries, Kia Heavy Industry, Poongsan Corporation en Samsung Aerospace Industries voor de strijdkrachten van de Republiek Korea, en wordt nu vervaardigd door Hanwha Aerospace. K9-houwitsers werken in groepen met de K10 Ammunition Resupply Vehicle-variant.

General Characteristics

The K9 Thunder is a modern South Korean 155 mm self-propelled howitzer. It was designed to provide long-range, accurate, and rapid fire support, featuring high mobility and excellent survivability.
