1. K9 Гръмотевици е южнокорейска 155-мм самоходна гаубица, проектирана и разработена от Агенцията за развитие на отбраната и частни корпорации, включително Dongmyeong Heavy Industries, Kia Heavy Industry, Poongsan Corporation и Samsung Aerospace Industries за въоръжените сили на Република Корея, и сега се произвежда от Hanwha Aerospace. Гаубиците K9 работят в групи с варианта K10 Ammunition Resupply Vehicle.

General Characteristics

The K9 Thunder is a modern South Korean 155 mm self-propelled howitzer. It was designed to provide long-range, accurate, and rapid fire support, featuring high mobility and excellent survivability.

Operational Range: Approximately 360 km (224 miles).
Suspension: Hydropneumatic suspension, providing superior stability for firing and cross-country mobility.
International Success: The K9 has been highly successful in the export market, sold to nations including Turkey, Poland, India, Norway, Finland, and Australia.
