A K9 mennydörgés egy dél-koreai 155 mm-es önjáró tarack, amelyet a Védelmi Fejlesztési Ügynökség és magánvállalatok, köztük a Dongmyeong Heavy Industries, a Kia Heavy Industry, a Poongsan Corporation és a Samsung Aerospace Industries tervezett és fejlesztett ki a Koreai Köztársaság fegyveres erői számára, és jelenleg a Hanwha Aerospace gyártja. A K9 tarackok csoportokban működnek a K10 lőszer-utánpótlási jármű változattal.

General Characteristics

The K9 Thunder is a modern South Korean 155 mm self-propelled howitzer. It was designed to provide long-range, accurate, and rapid fire support, featuring high mobility and excellent survivability.

International Success: The K9 has been highly successful in the export market, sold to nations including Turkey, Poland, India, Norway, Finland, and Australia.
