A total of 1,715 Hurricanes flew with Fighter Command during the period of the Battle of Britain, far in excess of all other British fighters combined. The Hurricane was a robust, manoeuvrable aircraft capable of sustaining fearsome combat damage before write-off; and unlike the Spitfire, it was a wholly operational, go-anywhere do-anything fighter by July 1940.

It is estimated that its pilots were credited with four-fifths of all enemy aircraft destroyed in the period July-October 1940.

Le M12 Gun Motor Carriage est un canon automoteur blindé développé par l’armée américaine. À la suite de la Première Guerre mondiale, l’U.S Army Department s’intéressa au développement d’une artillerie lourde automotrice utilisant le canon de 155mm, mais il n’y eut pas de développement immédiat suite au peu d’enthousiasme de la branche de l’artillerie de campagne (FAB). C’est avec le second conflit mondial et la possibilité d’une opération sur un terrain de manœuvre comme l’Europe que cette arme fut réétudiée comme soutien d’artillerie pour les unités blindées. Cette idée fut reprise dès juin 1941 en associant le châssis du M3 Lee aux vieux canons français M1917 et M1918A1 de 155mm.

The PT-76 is one of several light amphibious tanks developed and used by the Soviet Army. Although the PT-76 is lightly armored for a modern tank, its inherent amphibious capability outweighs these limitations. It has had widespread use in the Warsaw Pact and many other countries. ThePT-76 carries a 76mm main gun with a maximum effective range of approximately 1500 meters.

Operated by a three man crew, the PT-76 is often used to transport troops. The fact that the commander is also the gunner and radio operator reduces his effectiveness as an observer. The PT-76 also lagged behind other Soviet armored fighting vehicles in having no night vision equipment and no NBC protection system for the three-man crew.

Čaj Mitsubishi A6M Zero was the Japanese Navy’s mainstay fighter throughout WWII. The A6M5 (Model 52) variant followed the A6M3 (Model 22) and was developed to counter the ever more powerful American fighters. This variant featured an exhaust system which provided a small amount of thrust and rounded wingtips which improved dive and roll performance as well as maximum speed. It was first introduced in the autumn of 1943 and went on to serve valiantly until the end of the war.

Čaj Mitsubishi A6M "Nula" je dalekometni borbeni avion koji je proizvela kompanija Mitsubishi Aircraft Company, deo Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, a kojim upravlja carska japanska mornarica od 1940. do 1945. godine. A6M je označen kao lovac na nosač aviona Mitsubishi Navy Type 0 (零式艦上戦闘機 rei-shiki-kanj-sentki), ili Mitsubishi A6M Rei-sen. A6M su obično nazivali njegovi piloti "Reisen" (nulti borac), "0" je poslednja cifra carske 2600.godine (1940) kada je ušao u službu sa carskom mornaricom. Zvanično savezničko ime za izveštavanje bilo je "Zeke", iako su upotrebu imena "Nula" kasnije usvojili i saveznici.

As well as the gun tanks from Mk.I to Mk.13 ranging in armament from the original 17pdr (76.2mm), through the 20pdr (83.4mm) to the later L7 105mm the Centurion was also used as the basis for many specialised vehicles such as ARV/AVREs, bridge layers, Dozer tanks, BARVs as well as the many specialised vehicles in the IDF with these vehicles also being fitted with the AVD-S1790-2A Diesel engine.
