De Piper PA-18 Super Cub is een tweezits eenmotorige eendekker. Geïntroduceerd in 1949 door Piper Aircraft, werd het ontwikkeld uit de Piper PA-11 en traceert zijn afstamming terug via de J-3 naar de Taylor E-2 Cub van de jaren 1930. In bijna 40 jaar productie werden er meer dan 10.000 gebouwd. Super Cubs worden vaak aangetroffen in rollen zoals bush flying, banner towing en glider towing.
