2007 Yakovlev Yak-52 (Russian: Яковлев Як-52) is a Soviet primary trainer aircraft which first flew in 1976. It is still being produced in Romania by Aerostar, as Iak-52, which gained manufacturing rights under agreement within the now defunct COMECON socialist trade organisation. The Yak-52 was designed originally as an aerobatic trainer for students in the Soviet DOSAAF training organisation, which trained both civilian sport pilots and military pilots.

The Yakovlev Yak-52 is a Soviet primary trainer aircraft that was designed for aerobatic training and competition. It first flew in 1976 and was produced in Romania by Aerostar from 1977 to 1998. The Yak-52 is a two-seat variant of the Yakovlev Yak-50, a single-seat aerobatic aircraft that won several world championships in the 1970s and 1980s. The Yak-52 has a metal airframe and a radial engine that can operate in inverted flight for up to two minutes. The Yak-52 has a pneumatic system that controls the engine starting, landing gear, flaps, and brakes. The Yak-52 can perform all the maneuvers in the Aresti catalog and is capable of withstanding +7 and -5 Gs. The Yak-52 is still used today by aerobatic pilots and enthusiasts around the world.
