Den Eurocopter Tiger (now Airbus Helicopters) is a four-bladed, twin-engined attack helicopter which first entered service in 2003. It is manufactured by Eurocopter (now Airbus Helicopters), the successor company to Aérospatiale’s and DASA’s respective helicopter divisions, which designate it as the EC665. Following their languages, in Germany it is known as the Tiger; in France and Spain it is called the Tigre.

The Eurocopter Tiger is a four-bladed, twin-engined attack helicopter that was developed by a joint venture of Aérospatiale and MBB, later merged into Airbus Helicopters. The Tiger entered service in 2003 and has been used by several European countries for various missions, such as anti-tank, escort, reconnaissance and fire support. The Tiger is equipped with advanced avionics, stealth features, high agility and a range of weapons, including cannons, rockets and missiles. The Tiger has a maximum speed of 315 km/h and a combat range of 800 km. The Tiger has also participated in combat operations in Afghanistan, Libya and Mali.
