Flere oplysninger:

The Douglas TF-10B Skyknight was a trainer version of the F3D-2 (F-10B) Skyknight, a twin-engined, mid-wing jet fighter aircraft designed for carrier-based night operations. The TF-10B had a second cockpit added behind the original one, with dual controls and instruments for the instructor. The TF-10B was used to train pilots and radar operators for the Skyknight, which was the first jet-powered night fighter to enter service with the US Navy and Marine Corps in 1950. The Skyknight saw combat in the Korean War, where it scored several victories over MiG-15s, and later in the Vietnam War, where it served as an electronic warfare platform. The TF-10B was retired from service in 1970, along with the rest of the Skyknight variants. Only a few examples of the TF-10B survive today in museums and private collections.
