More info:

The Tupolev Tu-142 is a long-range maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare aircraft that was developed by the Soviet Union in the late 1960s. It is based on the Tupolev Tu-95 strategic bomber, but has a longer fuselage, a reinforced landing gear, and various modifications to suit its naval missions. The Tu-142 can carry a variety of weapons, such as torpedoes, mines, depth charges, and anti-ship missiles, as well as sonobuoys and electronic warfare equipment. The Tu-142 has a crew of 11 to 13 and is powered by four Kuznetsov NK-12MP turboprop engines, which drive contra-rotating propellers.
The Tu-142 has a maximum speed of 925 km/h and a range of 6,500 km. The Tu-142 was first flown in 1968 and entered service in 1972. It was used by the Soviet Navy and later by the Russian Navy and the Indian Naval Air Arm. The Tu-142 has several variants, such as the Tu-142MR for long-range communications with submarines, the Tu-142MP for avionics testing, and the Tu-142MZ for improved performance and avionics. The Tu-142 is one of the fastest and longest-range maritime patrol aircraft in the world.
