Den PZL TS-11 Iskra is a Polish jet trainer aircraft that was designed and produced by the PZL Mielec company. It is the first Polish-designed jet aircraft to enter service and the only one to be mass-produced. The TS-11 Iskra has been used by the Polish Air Force since 1964 as a basic and advanced trainer, as well as a light attack and reconnaissance aircraft. It has also been exported to India, Bangladesh and Nigeria.
TS-11 Iskra er et lavvinget monoplan med et trehjuls landingsunderstell og en enkelt turbojetmotor montert i bakkroppen. Den har en tandemcockpit med utkastseter for instruktøren og studentpiloten. The TS-11 Iskra is powered by a SO-1 turbojet engine that produces 9.8 kN of thrust.
