The ZSU 23-4 is a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun developed by the Soviet Union in the late 1950s. It is armed with four 23 mm autocannons mounted on a modified tank chassis. The ZSU 23-4 can fire up to 4,000 rounds per minute at targets up to 2.5 km away. It has a radar and an optical sight for tracking and engaging aerial targets, as well as a secondary role against ground targets.
The ZSU 23-4 was widely used by the Soviet and Warsaw Pact forces, as well as by many other countries around the world. It proved to be effective in several conflicts, such as the Arab-Israeli wars, the Iran-Iraq war, and the Afghan war. The ZSU 23-4 is still in service in some countries, although it has been replaced by more modern systems in others.
