Tthe 북미 NA-64 예일 was a low-wing single-engine monoplane advanced trainer aircraft used by the Royal Canadian Air Force and the French Air Force during World War II. It was a development of the earlier NA-16 and NA-18 designs, with a more powerful engine and a retractable landing gear. The Yale was originally ordered by France in 1939, but the delivery was interrupted by the German invasion in 1940. The remaining aircraft were diverted to Canada, where they were used for pilot training under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan.
The Yale was considered obsolete by the time it entered service, but it proved to be reliable and agile. It was nicknamed “the Yellow Peril" 밝은 노란색 페인트 구성표와 쉽게 회전하는 경향 때문에 조종사에 의해. Yale은 1945 년에 퇴역했으며 대부분은 잉여로 판매되었습니다. 그들 중 일부는 나중에 개인 소유주와 수집가에 의해 복원되어 날아갔습니다.
