el Boeing B-52 Stratofortress is a long-range, subsonic, jet-powered strategic bomber. The B-52 was designed and built by Boeing, which has continued to provide support and upgrades. It has been operated by the United States Air Force (USAF) since the 1950s. The bomber carries up to 70,000 pounds (32,000 kg) of weapons. Beginning with the successful contract bid in June 1946, the B-52 design evolved from a straight-wing aircraft powered by six turboprop engines to the final prototype YB-52 with eight turbojet engines and swept wings. The B-52 took its maiden flight in April 1952. Built to carry nuclear weapons for Cold War-era deterrence missions, the B-52 Stratofortress replaced the Convair B-36. Although a veteran of several wars, the Stratofortress has dropped only conventional munitions in combat.

The ROKS-2 and ROKS-3 were man-portable flamethrowers used by the USSR in the Second World War. The ROKS-2 was designed not to draw attention so the fuel tank was designed to be easy to conceal within a knapsack, and the fuel pipe designed to resemble a rifle. ROKS-3 was a simplified design and had a regular cylindrical fuel tank. The Finnish designation for captured ROKS-2 units was M/41-r. Roks-2 were used, amongst other engagements, during the close-range fighting during the first days of the battle of Kursk in 1943.

The ultimate utilty vehicle in WWII was the Willys Jeep. Due to the huge demand Ford was contracted to produce them as well. The Ford car was then designated GPW, with the “W” referring to the “Willys” licensed design. During World War II, Willys produced 363,000 Jeeps and Ford some 280,000. Approximately 51,000 were exported to the U.S.S.R. under the Lend-Lease program. A top speed of 65mph and a lightweight construction enabled it to operate in many locations unsuited to other vehicles.

La flota de vehículos blindados de propósito general (AVGP) se compone de tres variantes: el Cougar, el Grizzly y el Husky. La flota de AVGP entró en servicio en 1976. Un total de 195 Cougars fueron adquiridos originalmente para equipar unidades blindadas Regulares y de Reserva. Tras la adquisición del Coyote como parte del Plan de Racionalización de Equipos del Ejército de 1999, la flota de Cougar se redujo a 100 vehículos, para ser empleados exclusivamente por unidades blindadas de la Reserva. La flota de AVGP se encuentra actualmente en un programa de extensión de la vida útil para aumentar su confiabilidad, compatibilidad y similitud con las flotas Bison y Coyote. Número en servicio: Cougar – 100, Grizzly – 274, Husky – 27.
