2007 Boeing B-52 Stratofortress is a long-range, subsonic, jet-powered strategic bomber. The B-52 was designed and built by Boeing, which has continued to provide support and upgrades. It has been operated by the United States Air Force (USAF) since the 1950s. The bomber carries up to 70,000 pounds (32,000 kg) of weapons. Beginning with the successful contract bid in June 1946, the B-52 design evolved from a straight-wing aircraft powered by six turboprop engines to the final prototype YB-52 with eight turbojet engines and swept wings. The B-52 took its maiden flight in April 1952. Built to carry nuclear weapons for Cold War-era deterrence missions, the B-52 Stratofortress replaced the Convair B-36. Although a veteran of several wars, the Stratofortress has dropped only conventional munitions in combat.

The ROKS-2 and ROKS-3 were man-portable flamethrowers used by the USSR in the Second World War. The ROKS-2 was designed not to draw attention so the fuel tank was designed to be easy to conceal within a knapsack, and the fuel pipe designed to resemble a rifle. ROKS-3 was a simplified design and had a regular cylindrical fuel tank. The Finnish designation for captured ROKS-2 units was M/41-r. Roks-2 were used, amongst other engagements, during the close-range fighting during the first days of the battle of Kursk in 1943.

The ultimate utilty vehicle in WWII was the Willys Jeep. Due to the huge demand Ford was contracted to produce them as well. The Ford car was then designated GPW, with the “W” referring to the “Willys” licensed design. During World War II, Willys produced 363,000 Jeeps and Ford some 280,000. Approximately 51,000 were exported to the U.S.S.R. under the Lend-Lease program. A top speed of 65mph and a lightweight construction enabled it to operate in many locations unsuited to other vehicles.

The Sherman Firefly was a WWII British variant of the American Sherman tank, fitted with the powerful British 17 pounder anti-tank gun as its main weapon. Originally conceived as a stopgap until future British tank designs came into service, the Sherman Firefly became the most common tank with the 17 pounder in WWII. It soon became highly valued as the only British tank capable of defeating the Panther and Tiger tanks it faced in Normandy at standard combat ranges. Soomussõidukite üldotstarbeline (AVGP) laevastik koosneb kolmest variandist: Cougar, Grizzly ja Husky. AVGP laevastik võeti kasutusele 1976. aastal. Algselt hangiti 195 Cougarit regulaar- ja reservsoomusüksuste varustamiseks. Pärast Coyote'i omandamist 1999. aasta armee varustuse ratsionaliseerimisplaani raames vähendati Cougari laevastikku 100 sõidukini, mida kasutati ainult reservi soomusüksustes. AVGP laevastik läbib praegu kasutusea pikendamise programmi, et suurendada selle töökindlust, toetatavust ja sarnasust Bisoni ja Coyote'i laevastikuga. Teeninduses olevate inimeste arv: Cougar – 100, Grizzly – 274, Husky – 27.
