Tthe K2 Czarna Pantera (Hangul: K2 "흑中田"; Hanja: K2 "黑豹") to główny czołg nowej generacji z Korei Południowej zaprojektowany przez Południowokoreańską Agencję Rozwoju Obrony i produkowany przez Hyundai Rotem. Opracowany jako nowoczesny główny czołg bojowy, który zastąpi większość pozostałych czołgów M48 Patton i uzupełni serię K1 głównych czołgów bojowych obecnie wysypanych przez wojsko Korei Południowej, K2 Black Panther łączy w sobie automatycznie załadowane działo główne kalibru 55, 120 mm, zaawansowany pancerz kompozytowy wraz z aktywnymi systemami ochrony twardego i miękkiego zabijania. Masowa produkcja rozpoczęła się w 2013 r., a pierwsze K2 zostały rozmieszczone wraz z siłami zbrojnymi w czerwcu 2014 r. K2 kosztuje ponad 8,5 miliona dolarów za jednostkę, co czyni go jednym z najdroższych głównych czołgów bojowych w służbie, spośród wszystkich krajów.

General Characteristics
The K2 Black Panther is a modern Main Battle Tank developed by Hyundai Rotem for the Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) to replace older tanks and complement the K1 series. Designed as a 4th-generation MBT, it incorporates advanced domestic and foreign technologies, notably a high-velocity 120 mm gun with an autoloader, sophisticated composite armor, and a hydropneumatic suspension system that allows for posture control. It is considered one of the most technologically advanced and expensive tanks in the world.
