Den K2 Svart Panter (Hangul: K2 "흑표"; Hanja: K2 '黑豹') är en nästa generations sydkoreanska stridsvagn designad av Den sydkoreanska byrån för försvarsutveckling och tillverkad av Hyundai Rotem. K2 Black Panther är utvecklad som en modern stridsvagn som kommer att ersätta de flesta av de återstående M48 Patton-stridsvagnarna och komplettera K1-serien av huvudstridsvagnar som för närvarande fältas av den sydkoreanska militären, och kombinerar en autoladdad 55-kalibers 120 mm huvudpistol, avancerad kompositpansar tillsammans med hårda och mjuka aktiva skyddssystem. Massproduktionen inleddes 2013 och de första K2:na sattes in med försvarsmakten i juni 2014. General Characteristics
The K2 Black Panther is a modern Main Battle Tank developed by Hyundai Rotem for the Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) to replace older tanks and complement the K1 series. Designed as a 4th-generation MBT, it incorporates advanced domestic and foreign technologies, notably a high-velocity 120 mm gun with an autoloader, sophisticated composite armor, and a hydropneumatic suspension system that allows for posture control. It is considered one of the most technologically advanced and expensive tanks in the world.

Armament and Fire Control

Protection and Mobility
