Meer info:

The M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System (M270 MLRS) is a powerful and versatile weapon system that can fire multiple rockets or missiles from a single platform. The M270 MLRS was developed by the United States in cooperation with other NATO members, and has been in service since 1983. The M270 MLRS can engage a wide range of targets, from enemy air defenses and artillery to armored vehicles and infantry. The M270 MLRS uses a modified Bradley Fighting Vehicle chassis, which provides mobility, protection, and reliability. The M270 MLRS has a crew of three: a commander, a driver, and a gunner.
The M270 MLRS can carry 12 227 mm rockets or two MGM-140 ATACMS missiles or four PrSM missiles in a reloadable launcher pod. The rockets and missiles can be fired individually or in salvos, and can be equipped with different types of warheads, such as high-explosive, cluster, or guided. The M270 MLRS has a maximum range of 300 km for the ATACMS missile and 92 km for the PrSM missile. The M270 MLRS has proven its effectiveness in various conflicts, such as the Persian Gulf War, the War in Afghanistan, the Iraq War, and the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
